Indio together with organisation Ecpat (At the forefront of the fight against sexual exploitation of children for the past 25 years) is working on a series of short films to highlight the children in the world who has fallen victim of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.
“Sons of our country”, directed by Philippe Tempelman, is told from one of these children’s perspective. It’s the story of why two Moroccan boys decide to leave Marrakech to end up on the streets of Stockholm – and what they have to do to survive. A journey that spans two continents and with the ambition to provide a little insight into what these children’s everyday actually can look like. See why they leave, what they go through to come to us and what they are forced to endure after they arrive. Inspired by true events.
