Samantha may be new to Indio, but she is no stranger to their shared muse, story. Samantha is a believer in the power of story to connect us all, no matter the border or language, and she’s dedicated her career to the craft, telling stories as a producer and writer. And for many moons prior, she worked as a production, development and acquisitions executive for US based companies such as Focus Features, Paramount Vantage and producer/financier Megan Ellison’s Panorama, developing projects and working on films with award winning filmmakers such as Barry Jenkins, Dee Rees, Noah Baumbach, Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant.

Based in Los Angeles, Samantha is an Executive Producer on Indio’s inaugural US television project, Tales From the Loop, a collaboration with writer/director Matt Reeves’ 6th and Idaho production company and Fox 21 television studios. Based on the Swedish graphic novel by celebrated artist Simon Stålenhag, the pilot has been written by screenwriter Nathaniel Halpern and will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Mark Romanek. The Loop promises to be an incredible project that will plant Indio’s Swedish flag in the states, marking the beginning of expanding Indio’s development efforts beyond the North Pole.
